Can I arrive early or stay late?

Yes. In either scenario please reserve a campsite for your additional desired dates through the De Anza website www.deanzasprings.com. van jam tickets only cover camping for the nights of march 22, 23, and 24.

Where is Van Jam Campout located?

A beautiful and quiet, amenity rich private desert campground called de anza springs resort in, Jacumba Hot Springs, CA. About 1 hour east of San Diego on I-8. De Anza Springs has bathrooms, showers, laundry, a large indoor lounge, outdoor and indoor pools, hot tub, cocktail bar and pool tables, pickleball courts, communal outdoor kitchen, miles of beautiful hiking trails, abandoned train cars, dozens of full hookup campsites & space for hundreds more campers.

Who can attend? Pets?

Anyone can attend, with or without a van and of any age. Children under 18 are free if accompanied by an adult. Pets are welcome but please note these 2 things: 1 You are responsible for your pets waste, behavior, and interactions with other people and animals. 2.  If your pet walks off trails and into the desert, they will get sharp thorns in their feet.

What options for food & drinks?

Van Jam is a BYO event. please come prepared to self sustain for the weekend. 1 meal [firebox cookout] is provided on Saturday. Beverages and alcoholic drinks are available in the bar throughout most the weekend. Saturday is a planned community potluck and we are asking everyone to participate by providing a dish to share.

How much does it cost?

$95 PER PERSON. THIS includes 1 meal [FIREBOX COOKOUT ON SATURDAY), and participation in all Van Jam activities from Friday - Monday. Please purchase your TICKET through this Van Jam Campout website by clicking below.  Reserving a campsite through the De Anza SPRINGS website does not include participation in Van Jam.  

Can I be a vendor, presenter, or musical act?

Yes! We are still looking for collaborators.  Specifically for coffee, food, clothing, musical acts, speakers and panelists. Please email vanjam@vanjamcampout.com
