The true spirit of house still lives on in off-grid DIY gatherings and intimate dance floors where unity, equality, & pure love for the music transcend judgement and celebrate radical inclusion.
Woodstock ignited the counterculture spirit and by the 1970s its legacy proved something powerful: thousands would gather in peace and unity, rejecting mainstream norms to build community on their own terms.
The rise of the VW Vanagon became a rolling symbol of that freedom - fueling a generation of wanderers, dreamers, and nonconformists chasing meaning, movement, and life beyond the veil.
Decades later, these worlds collide.
Driven by the same restless spirit that once packed underground warehouses to hear DJs spin vinyl, those who defy mainstream expectations chase sunsets and open skies, & gather in mobile communities, choosing freedom, connection, and self-defined purpose over convention.
From this spirit, Van Jam emerged.
Birthed as a simple, curated vanlife gathering, the foundational principles propel the Campout towards its destiny - a quintessential multi day experience capturing the holistic comforts of a well crafted wellness retreat, the communal strength of an off grid nomadic gathering, and the fine tuned craftsmanship of a top tier music & arts festival.
